THE 'NOBLE'NESS!

THE 'NOBLE'NESS !

Be Yourself. There is something that you can do better than any other. Listen to the inward voice and bravely obey that.

Two and a half months since I've posted for my readers. And, what has kept me busy? "The Black Coat experience".

After obtaining my degree in Law in 2011, I was left with several choices. However, as it is with everyone else, you choose one, and leave the rest.  As such, I had chosen to practice Law.. to litigate.

Let me shed some light on Legal practice. I'll share a couple of aspects. First of all, it is Not Fetching. When I say it is not fetching, I mean in terms of money. Legal Practice ain't like a job, wherein you give around 35 - 40 hours a week, five days a week, and take home the pre-determined pay package. The fact remains, Lawyers on an average work for about 50 hours a week If you are a fresher, you need to put in the extra effort. Extra effort here means, 10am to 5pm in the courts, and roughly about 3-4 hours at office in the evening. And guess what, all of this "effort" DOES NOT PAY. Nope, not a single pie.
Secondly, all that a Law Graduate learns during the five year / three year course program, all those provisions, acts, laws; all of that is just theory. Practical implementation of what has been learnt during the course is entirely different. In fact, what you do when in practice has very little to do what one has learnt during the course. Now, do not misunderstand me. I am not stating that whatever time you've invested in the course in order to obtain a Law Degree is a mere waste of time. What I intend to explain is the HUGE gap between the theoretical aspects learnt, and its practical implementation. In fact, as I know it, this huge difference acts as a deterrent for most of the freshers to enter into Law Practice.

So, when I had decided to be a Legal professional.. practicing Law, I knew what it meant. I was familiar with what I'd be dealing with and also realized it was going to be tough.

Two Roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The Black Coat Experience..
The "black coat experience" has been overwhelming.

It has been a while since I've been in the profession. It has not been easy. Nevertheless, the thrill of wearing the Black Coat & the Band, witnessing the Trial, observing the Senior Colleagues demonstrating the art of cross-examination, representing your client's cause before the Judge, the full up court hall, PRICELESS.  With each passing day, I get to learn something new. With each morning, comes its own challenges.

As I once said, As long as I LEARN, I'll figure out how to EARN ;) :D

Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. there will still be business enough.
Abraham Lincoln

I am full of Joy. I live my life. I've been blessed with a wonderful & supportive family and have the best as my friends. Having said this,  I am thankful and blessed to have them in my life.

And yes, I do believe in the power of Change. For, Change is the only thing that remains constant.

Cheers,

Don't forget to Live your life..!
Because, the only thing that matters is this MOMENT.
