THE 'NOBLE'NESS!

THE 'NOBLE'NESS !

Be Yourself. There is something that you can do better than any other. Listen to the inward voice and bravely obey that.

Two and a half months since I've posted for my readers. And, what has kept me busy? "The Black Coat experience".

After obtaining my degree in Law in 2011, I was left with several choices. However, as it is with everyone else, you choose one, and leave the rest.  As such, I had chosen to practice Law.. to litigate.

Let me shed some light on Legal practice. I'll share a couple of aspects. First of all, it is Not Fetching. When I say it is not fetching, I mean in terms of money. Legal Practice ain't like a job, wherein you give around 35 - 40 hours a week, five days a week, and take home the pre-determined pay package. The fact remains, Lawyers on an average work for about 50 hours a week If you are a fresher, you need to put in the extra effort. Extra effort here means, 10am to 5pm in the courts, and roughly about 3-4 hours at office in the evening. And guess what, all of this "effort" DOES NOT PAY. Nope, not a single pie.
Secondly, all that a Law Graduate learns during the five year / three year course program, all those provisions, acts, laws; all of that is just theory. Practical implementation of what has been learnt during the course is entirely different. In fact, what you do when in practice has very little to do what one has learnt during the course. Now, do not misunderstand me. I am not stating that whatever time you've invested in the course in order to obtain a Law Degree is a mere waste of time. What I intend to explain is the HUGE gap between the theoretical aspects learnt, and its practical implementation. In fact, as I know it, this huge difference acts as a deterrent for most of the freshers to enter into Law Practice.

So, when I had decided to be a Legal professional.. practicing Law, I knew what it meant. I was familiar with what I'd be dealing with and also realized it was going to be tough.

Two Roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

The Black Coat Experience..
The "black coat experience" has been overwhelming.

It has been a while since I've been in the profession. It has not been easy. Nevertheless, the thrill of wearing the Black Coat & the Band, witnessing the Trial, observing the Senior Colleagues demonstrating the art of cross-examination, representing your client's cause before the Judge, the full up court hall, PRICELESS.  With each passing day, I get to learn something new. With each morning, comes its own challenges.

As I once said, As long as I LEARN, I'll figure out how to EARN ;) :D

Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. there will still be business enough.
Abraham Lincoln

I am full of Joy. I live my life. I've been blessed with a wonderful & supportive family and have the best as my friends. Having said this,  I am thankful and blessed to have them in my life.

To Start..!

TO START..!

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.
Robert Frost

Writing. It has been a long lost dream of mine.. I've always wanted to write.

Usually when one thinks of writing, the first thought would be, How do I write? Then, questions like, What do I write about..? Whether what I write would be "liked" by others..? What if somebody makes fun of us / at what we've written..? start coming up. We let ourselves get affected by the opinion of those who do not matter.. We are scared.. Scared of doing what we've always wanted to do. In a way, these questions & thoughts discourage us from doing what we're capable of.

We all have a lot of thoughts, and often we feel we are what our thoughts are. I'd rather believe that we AREN'T what our thoughts are

Nothing matters but the writing. There has been nothing else
worthwhile... a stain upon the silence.

Samuel Beckett

Deep down, I knew I could write. In fact, I say everyone can write. The problem  could be that either we usually take for granted what we could DO, or we let our thoughts deter us from DOING.

So, with these thoughts, I've at last begun writing. I am doing what I've thought I could DO, and probably will KEEP DOING it. All I'll write is just what I feel, that's all
.

I am full of Joy. I live my life. I've been blessed with a wonderful & supportive family and have the best as my friends. Having said this,  I am thankful and blessed to have them in my life.

And yes, I do believe in the power of Change. For, Change is the only thing that remains constant.

My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living.
Anais Nin

However great a man's natural talent may be, the act of writing cannot be learned all at once.

life AND paisa !

Life AND Paisa !

I Still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think,
all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see
.

What is the meaning of life..? Its simple, whatever you want it to be..!! Indeed, everybody loves their lives, and, when it comes to money.. I haven't found a single person in this world who does not love his money..! In fact, people have an eye on other's money than their own ;)

I wonder how important money can be in one's life..  I wonder if there's something mentioned about money in our destiny.. and if yes, then is the amount which we can earn in our lifetime pre-written..? What do we do with the money..? Spend most of it and be labelled as reckless.. or save most of it and be a Miser?

Most of us learn, educate ourselves, equip ourselves with the required skills and then start earning.  I am 24 now, have entered the stage of "earning" and I have a question that I ask myself, Do I do what is right & will fetch me money.. or do I do what I wanna do, irrespective of whether or not I would have enough ?

So, what is the connection between Life and paisa? Is it really like maal hain to taal hain ?
And, do we have a lot of it.. or not?

It is said, too much money is bad. Then, in that case, is inadequate amount of money alright? Logically, It is better to have money, than not having it at all !! Say, if too much money leads to stress and sleepless nights, we atleast have the money to buy a sleeping pill, don't we? ;-)

Well, am sure a lot of people have had these thoughts at some or the other point in their lives..

I ain't sure whether I have all the answers, But what I am sure of is, it is time for us to not shy away from money or money related issues. For, money was here before you were born, is the reason why you were born, and if the world does not come to an end in the year 2012, then it will always be here. Oh, not to forget, IT IS YOUR MONEY.. You have a right to decide what you wanna do with it !!

The Lack of money is the root of all evil.
- Mark Twain
Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.
- Benjamin Franklin

Money won't make you happy... but everybody wants to find out for themselves.
